A seasoned
Floor Lead
is wanted immediately for The Spice & Tea Exchange®, a specialty retail shop that sells spices, herbs, teas, spice blends, and related products. Our Floor Leads are responsible for cultivating and maintaining thorough understanding, and complying with all The Spice & Tea Exchange® operating standards and procedures pertaining to the daily operation and management of the store. We are looking for individuals with excellent people skills who have a passion for cultivating an experience for guests. Responsibilities
Comply with all The Spice & Tea Exchange® operating standards and procedures pertaining to the daily operation and management of the store
Assist Store Managers with work and job results by coaching, counseling, and developing tea'm members; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Track and implement floor strategies based off of key performance indicators, and uplift tea'm members in meeting sales goals
Monitor and respond to the generic store email account on a daily basis in the absence of the Store or Assistant Managers
Communicate any necessary new information to the Store Manager and remaining staff
Sticker merchandise with labels, SKU’s, prices, and locations and assist in the creation of labels and maintain adequate levels of backup labels
Blend and package products as necessary and where applicable
Assist in the recording of inventory registrations, write-offs, and invoices in the back end of the POS
Stock shelves, containers, counters, and tables with merchandise, assist with monthly, quarterly, or annual physical inventory, and maintain inventories to ensure product availability
Establish and maintain rapport with guests to ensure their return and/or word of mouth advertising
Uphold and promote The Spice & Tea Exchange® brand at all times while in uniform
Assure that deposits are made on a daily basis for each day of business in absence of the Store Manager
Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
Balance and reconcile register daily at the open and close of business
Contribute and maintain a cohesive store team unit by actively contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
1-3 years of retail management experience
Computer skills (google office, POS/Inventory systems)
Availability on week days and weekends, mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
