ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Shipping & Receiving Clerk): + Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies. + Ensures purchase order number is on all paperwork for products, materials and supplies received. + Receives material paperwork, prints labels, ensures special order products have appropriate labels, scans documentation and inputs received material into the computer system. + Communicates and coordinates with appropriate vendor for product returns/repair and creates supplier return in the system. + Physically loads product on company trucks for delivery. + Establishes and maintains effective relationships with vendors and vendor delivery personnel, as well as our internal shop and driver personnel. + Helps in maintaining a clean, neat and orderly door shop area. + Understands and adheres to organizational and department policy and procedures. + Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS (Shipping & Receiving Clerk) : + Previous experience with doors, lumber or building supplies strongly desired. + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. + Excellent communication skills are required. + Prior experience in shipping and receiving is strongly desired. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and department manuals. + Working knowledge of computerized inventory control system, MS Outlook, and MS Office computer software. + High school diploma or GED preferred.
