To learn more about Schwan’s, visit www.schwanscompany.com . What we are looking for: We are hiring a Production Manager for our manufacturing facility located in Robbinsville NJ . This position is responsible for the efficient use of resources to ensure an effective manufacturing process to meet quality standards and production schedules. Responsibilities: + Responsible for the general safety and health of production employees + Establishes and maintains excellent employee relations among all plant personnel + Participates and shows a presence at all plant production and management meetings + Creates and organizes weekly production schedules to meet demands + Plans implements and delegates production line changes to maintain an efficient production flow + Ensures and inspects daily production to verify customer and company standards and specifications are being met on all products produced within facility + Maintains constant improvement in making quality products reducing costs and following good manufacturing practices (GMP) + Participates and supports Global Food Safety Initiatives programs implementation and compliance + Manages trains and develops subordinates Qualifications: + Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + Minimum of 5 years related experience + Effective supervisor skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to read analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. + Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions and make effective decisions. + Knowledge of USDA FDA and BRC regulations preferred. + Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply concepts. + Basic computer skills and ability to generate and maintain reports.
