Full-time Sheladia Associates, Inc. Senior Level Structural / Civil Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to lead our engineering team. The Senior Engineer will play a key role in project management, technical leadership, and business development efforts. This position offers the chance to work on complex and challenging projects while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the firm's growth and success. Job Duties - Lead the design and analysis of complex civil and structural projects, providing technical expertise and guidance. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication. - Mentor and develop junior engineers, providing feedback and support to foster their professional growth. - Participate in business development activities, including client meetings, proposal writing, and networking events. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Requirements - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in civil and structural engineering. - Professional Engineer (PE) license required. - Extensive knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards. - Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. - Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills. Additional (Not Required, but Preferable) - Experience with design-build projects. - Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro. - Previous experience working with government agencies or large consulting firms. - Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
