Position Summary:
Primary responsibility of the Senior Accountant is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with Corporate closing schedule. Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures. Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis. Prepare monthly account reconciliations. Analyze financial statements and review with management on a monthly basis.
Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Cash Reconciliations (USA, Germany, Taiwan)
Maintain Prepaid & Accrual Schedules (USA, Germany, Taiwan)
Create/Maintain Monthly Standard Journals (USA, Germany, Taiwan)
Prepare Monthly Financial Statements (USA, Germany, Taiwan)
Reconcile Intercompany Accounts (USA, Germany, Taiwan)
Reconcile Intracompany Accounts (USA, Germany)
Coordinate Intercompany payments (Germany, Taiwan)
Submit Monthly Reports to Division Office (USA, Germany)
Prepare Monthly VAT Analysis (Germany)
Maintain VAT Monthly VAT Records (Germany)
Coordinate Year End Data for Tax Submissions with local accounting firms (Germany)
Coordinate Payroll information with local accounting firms (Germany, Taiwan)
Coordinate Fixed Asset Activity within local company, division office and parent company (USA, Germany)
Prepare Year End Tax Packages/Forms to division office (USA, Germany)
Budget

preparation/submission

Assist in any accounting research as required for local company or division office (USA, Germany)
Maintain monthly exchange rates in local ERP system (USA, Germany, Taiwan)
Maintain monthly user access in local ERP system (USA, Germany, Taiwan)
Maintain lease contracts file (USA, Germany, Taiwan)
Participate/Coordinate

the details of the annual Research & Tax Credit data (USA)
Train new hires on accessing local banking system, various state sales tax filings, interacting with local ERP system (USA)
Assist with financial and tax audits (USA, Germany)

Required Skilled and Abilities
5-10 years of

bookkeeping/accounting

experience required.
Detailed-oriented and organized
Experience with MS Office Products, especially Excel are required.
Ability to meet various deadlines
Ability to work independently or collaboratively with different levels of management
Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Thorough attention to details
Flexible with schedule
Familiarity with a variety of accounting software and programs
