Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design and analysis of mechanical systems, including structural elements, machinery, and assemblies.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and documentation in line with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and finite element analyses to ensure design performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate mechanical systems into overall product designs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges and optimize designs.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and validation, analyzing results and refining designs to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • At least 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a history of leading complex projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling and drafting software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong knowledge of engineering standards and codes relevant to mechanical design and analysis.
