JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Department: Cardiac Cath Labs Anc
Shift Timings: Morning 07:30 - 17:30 Hours Monday to Friday (4 Days/ 10 Hours)
Per Week: 40 Hours
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures.
- Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
- Prepare, implement and document plan of care.
- Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
- Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
- Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
- Prefer ARRT but will accept RCIS; BLS; Call: based on department needs but usually one day per week day and one weekend per month, Holidays covered with call
- Cath/Angio EP Experience needed
- May need to float to Mercy and/or Calumet if needed.
- BLS and ACLS
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current Cath Lab Technician experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
- Active unencumbered Wisconsin state license
- One year of Cerner experience

- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
