Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining efficient operations while supervising Warehouse Associates in the distribution center. Essential Functions + Supervising operations which include receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. + Supervises warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results and holding employees accountable to job requirements. + Ensures the following of safeguards for warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. + Communicates equipment and facility issues to the Facilities department. + Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. + Maintains employee work hours to ensure efficient operations while limiting any unnecessary overtime. + Oversees inventory physical counts; works with Inventory Control Specialist on discrepancies.
