Commercial Banking Relationship Manager West Texas (Midland, Devine, San Antonio)

FinTrust Connect has partnered with a leading regional financial services company that is rapidly expanding its credit operations and is looking to hire a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager in West Texas. The Commercial Relationship Manager II role entails strategically nurturing both new and existing business relationships within the designated market segment. Responsibilities include developing and executing market strategies to foster growth and retention, actively promoting Bank products, crafting financing proposals, and effectively navigating credit processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in banking sales.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on client engagement.
  • Proficient understanding of corporate finance and business operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Bank products, including credit, international banking, cash management, leasing, and consumer offerings.
  • Ability to orchestrate and lead sales initiatives, including crafting customized proposals.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen and experience, encompassing planning, execution, and follow-up.

Description:

  • Accountable for cultivating new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing commercial clients within the designated market segment.
  • Formulate and implement strategic plans to foster development, expansion, and retention of client base. Implement strategies through client engagement, qualification, and follow-up meetings to nurture and enhance client connections.
  • Actively promote and cross-sell a range of Bank offerings.
  • Develop financing proposals and negotiate terms and conditions for various financial products, such as loans and leases.
  • Collaborate with Loan Review teams to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Demonstrate proficient credit assessment and pricing capabilities. Provide recommendations for credit and pricing matters within assigned authority levels.
  • Utilize analytical skills to evaluate small business financial data and credit information, offering tailored Bank solutions to address client needs.
  • Advocate for loan requests through the appropriate credit approval channels.
  • Address client inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Oversee administrative duties, including credit analysis and processing.
  • Maintain active involvement in community and regional events.
  • Responsible for managing portfolios of medium to large-sized business clients.
