Sr Systems Integrator Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Systems Integrator Engineer to work in a collaborative, iterative development environment. The candidate will work as part of a development team which utilizes a diverse dynamic workforce, including many experts in their fields. Responsibilities include performing design, development, integration, test, and documentation duties to ensure proper operation of software platforms and applications, as well as integrate a wide variety of applications from various sources, while ensuring they meet performance standards for stability and resource utilization. In addition to these tasks, they will adhere to accepted standards for development, including writing unit tests, participate in peer reviews, conducting design reviews, and generating test plans to ensure maximum stability and quality of code. Lastly, the candidate is expected to participate in automation activities to establish continuous Integration, continuous Deployment and DevOps.
Security Clearance: An Active and In-Scope TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance
Required Skills:
•Systems Integration experience on a large government software development contract
•Experience with integration and test procedures and plans
•Solid foundation in Linux or UNIX
•Ability to the identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk
•Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
•Ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines
•Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors
•Knowledge of products with Atlassian tool suite, specifically: Jira and Confluence
•Experience working in an Agile or DevSecOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with SE, SW, Integration and Verification teams
•Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skill
•Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors
•Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
•Security+ Certification
•Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Ruby or Python and familiarity with a JavaScript framework such as AngularJS, jQuery, or Backbone.js
•Experience with C++ language
•Experience with Containers such as Docker and/or Kubernetes
•Experience with version control software such as ClearCase or GIT
•Experience with continuous integration tools such as Hudson/Jenkins or Cruise Control
•Experience utilizing relational databases such as Oracle, MarkLogic, Postgres
•Experience utilizing non-relational databases such as MongoDB, Hadoop
•Experience with AWS
•Experience in systems engineering process development and deployment
•Experience with application lifecycle management tools/platforms such as Jira, Confluence
Preferred Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree (Typically STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
