Summary of who we are looking for:

Our Bookkeeper is a professional who helps us plan for growth using our Bench-marking Budget and our Cash Flow Forecast.

Our Bookkeeper loves to streamline processes by automating systems so there is less room for error.

Our Bookkeeper manages our Financial Systems Manual so everyone knows Who shall do What by When so we can be good money managers with on-time reports and accurate information.

Responsibilities

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the following:
•Accepts and deposits checks, cash, credit cards, and other payments
•Enters clients' payments into the accounting system
•Prepares the weekly or bi-weekly transfers from Income Accounts to Profit First Accounts
•Codes and enters all expense invoices and check requests
•Verifies all invoices and check requests are properly approved
•Mails A/P checks upon approval and as necessary
•Answer questions related to payable and billing questions

Monthly Bookkeeping:
•Prepares weekly reports
•Reconciles Accounts
•Assists with Financial Audits

Staff Matters:
•Inputs all payrolls into the payroll software system
•Manages the Mileage and Expense Reimbursements
•Assists staff with inquiries related to the Financial Department

Systems, Policies, and Procedures:
•Craft and manage the Financial Systems Manual with periodic updates

Qualifications

•Resilient problem-solving skills
•Proven experience in bookkeeping = 10+ years
•Good understanding of business principles
•Strong communication and people skills
•Strong attention to detail including grammar and spelling
•Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Great organization skills
•Excellent knowledge of basic office programs, computer software, and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, etc.)
•Strong typing and computer efficiency skills
•College Degree, Business, or relevant field experience is a strong advantage
