The Quality Manager provides planning, administrative and direct supervisory control and direction to the Quality Control and Aircraft Records departments; responsible for effective coordination and communications with regulatory agencies representatives (FAA), outside vendors and other ABX departments; acts to oversee and assure company policy, procedures and practices are in accordance with FAR's in the maintenance of aircraft engines and components, including activities in related support departments; oversee and maintain audit schedules, quality and currency; monitor and ensure compliance of all SMS related requirements.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 10 years working experience on heavy commercial transport category aircraft3 years management experienceGood organizational, communication, analytical, planning and leadership skillsA&P LicenseProficient with Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of FAR'sPREFERRED:Associate Degree in Aircraft Technology or similar in technical fieldPrior audit or quality department experiencePrior aircraft maintenance content management system experience (MXI, PMI, AMOS, Prime)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
