WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Human Resource Generalist will provide professional and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the department's day-to-day operations. In this role, you'll maintain our ADP Human Resources Information System (HRIS); manage files, run reports, handle inquiries and perform a wide range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle including benefits administration and leave coordination. Your position requires the ability to handle highly critical and confidential details, enforce policies, and operate in accordance with HR-related federal, state and local laws and regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR or similar area of study or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience with 2+ years of benefits focused activity preferred.
  • HRIS experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
  • Knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and HR law.
  • Excellent customer orientation; approachable and available to team members.
  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability while maintaining a positive attitude to contribute to our office culture.
  • Ability to perform duties with a minimum of supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to support a culturally diverse workforce and appreciation of issues related to people with diverse backgrounds.

The salary range for this position is $22.00-35.00 per hour depending on experience. This position offers great benefits including 4+ weeks accrued Paid Time Off (PTO), 13+ paid holidays, excellent health insurance options (IHA) and much more. We also have a reduced full-time work week of 35 hours and early close on Fridays

This position requires a reliable vehicle, a clean NYS driver's license, and required liability insurance levels of 100/300k. If hired, you must also be able to demonstrate having received the COVID-19 vaccination.
