Growing manufacturer is looking for an industry experienced Director of Finance to add to their team. Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Finance will oversee the Finance team ensuring all projects, initiatives, and processes meet established objectives. The Director of Finance will develop and lead Finance strategic initiatives to ensure profitability and compliance. The Director of Finance will recommend financial plans ensuring financial health for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Finance team, setting strategic goals for standardization and managing successful implementations, and ensuring the most effective and efficient organizational structure Develop and execute the financial strategy in alignment with corporate goals and objectives Manage internal financial controls and accounting procedures Provide recommendations on cost reduction and increase of revenue Clearly and effectively communicate risk mitigation strategies Ensure the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and plans, ensuring accuracy Coordinate and file all required tax documentation Critically review all capital expenditure requests, ensuring return on investment will be recognized within an acceptable period of time Maintain a high level of customer service and organizational support Work closely with all organizational cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

At least 3+ years of experience within the manufacturing sector At least 3+ years at the Director of Finance level Minimum of ten (10) years of successful experience leading all finance related functions Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field CPA Required Excellent verbal and written communication skills with team members, peers, vendors and customers Thorough understanding of GAAP and other finance related principles, functions, terminology, and software systems SAP experience Proven track record of developing and implementing accounting and financial processes and best practices Ability to effectively manage change Critical thinking and reasoning skills, ability to identify weaknesses and strengths of alternative solutions or approaches to opportunities Demonstrated success leading all aspects of finance Critical thinking and reasoning skills, ability to identify weaknesses and strengths of alternative solutions or approaches to opportunities Demonstrated success leading all aspects of finance Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office products, ability to develop presentations and track project milestones
