Director of Marketing & Communications

Northern New England Wealth Management firm is currently seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to develop, implement and execute the firm’s marketing and communications strategies to external and internal stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

The Director of Marketing and Communications will work closely and collaboratively with members of senior management to influence and increase the visibility, brand awareness and competitive position of the firm. Specific accountabilities include:

Responsible for the development and execution of the firm’s marketing and advertising strategies, which are designed to bring new clients to the firm and build awareness surrounding the R.M. Davis brand.

Collaborate with the executive team to align marketing initiatives with overall company goals and objectives. Partner with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing and social media platforms.

Serve as the project manager for all marketing initiatives and events. Responsible for developing, implementing and executing PR campaigns, responding to RFP requests, preparing press releases, managing Constant Contact emails, assisting with the integration of the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, responding to requests for sponsorships/ads, and coordinating relevant speaking engagements and other firm profile building opportunities for the firm.

Manage the firm’s website, content creation, social media platforms, as well as all printed marketing materials used by the firm.

Serve as the primary point of contact with all external marketing agencies and vendors, ensuring that all projects stay on-track, marketing messages are appropriate, and decisions are data-driven.

Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, allocate marketing resources effectively, and ensure ROI on marketing investments.

Remain up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and brand differentiation.

Work in conjunction with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure the firm’s compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all marketing activities.

·

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates, and use insights to adjust strategies as needed. Compile and share regular assessments of the firm’s marketing efforts with the executive team.

Serve as Chair of the firm’s Marketing Committee.

The Director of Marketing & Communications will have the following minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; MBA or an advanced degree is strongly preferred.

Minimum of 5 - 7 years of prior experience in a senior level marketing role. Experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not required.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business results.

Prior experience overseeing external marketing and advertising agencies is preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to calibrate and deliver compelling messages to a wide variety of internal and external audiences. Serves as a public communications spokesperson for the firm.

Strong technological skills, including the Microsoft 365 Office Suite, prior CRM system exposure, as well as the ability to effectively utilize various social media platforms for marketing purposes. Prior experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics and other marketing analytics tools is preferred.

Excellent analytical, critical thinking and creative design skills. Proven ability to study industry and market trends and translate data into an effective marketing strategy for the firm.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in a professional and collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

High degree of initiative and self-motivation is required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively and with attention to detail.
