We are currently looking for a positive and self-driven Buyer II to support material requirements and planning for the Global Service Team and North America R&D efforts. This person will work in a team environment and assume planning responsibilities for the service group to meet warranty entitlement requirements to support customer on-time service. This position is based in Knoxville, TN.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Performs data analysis to ensure optimal material and finished goods availability to support global service needs, identifies and resolves RMA constraints

* Leads purchasing activities for North America R&D engineering team, including sourcing material when applicable

* Prepare, issue, and maintain Purchase Requisitions/Orders and Acknowledgements

* Manages new supplier on-boarding process for all new supplier requests globally

* Supports end-to-end planning for all service materials from new product introduction to last time buy for product service support

* Manage the expediting of materials and supplier documentation

* Manages excess and obsolescence of service material

* Ensures quality & compliance requirements are met throughout the procurement process and supports department continuous improvement

* Other duties as assigned by Manager

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, preferably in supply chain or business management

* At least 3-years relevant supply chain experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Procurement experience with a Tech company and/or electrical commodities, preferred

* Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO requirements related to procurement activities, preferred

* Experience with SAP/ERP systems, particularly in production/operations management

**Professional Skills/ Competencies:**

* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at various levels of expertise on a global landscape

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

* Demonstrates excellent analytical, negotiation and organizational skills

* Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)

**Physical Demands:**

* Ability to lift up to OSHA single person lift requirements

* Ability to sit, stand, bend or walk for prolonged periods of time

* Office work primarily using phone and PC

* Ability to travel domestically and internationally
