Overview:

Under the direction of our Digital Marketing Strategy lead, the CRM Automation Specialist will support different business categories by designing, implementing, and deploying intricate automated customer journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The CRM Automation Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience across all journey stages and drive business growth.

Note:

This is a contract position anticipated to be 12 months.

Remote or Hybrid in San Diego, CA available.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Design, implement and deploy automated email and SMS customer journeys Monitor and optimize existing journeys to meet company goals and drive customer experience Use scripting to provide dynamic data to communications Collaborate closely with data activation teams to drive consistent audience segmentation strategies QA and troubleshoot existing customer journeys to ensure they are responsive, device-friendly, trackable, and functional Partner with ecommerce engineering team to ensure seamless transactional email customer experience Tracking and reporting of all automated CRM journeys Support overall operations efficiency by driving process and documentation improvements Drive requirements for the implementation and integration of an evolving outstanding marketing automation platform Support special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

4-5 years of experience designing, implementing and deploying dynamic CRM automated journeys – specifically using AMPScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript for automation, dynamic content, customizations, and integrations Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field Expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Data Extensions) Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, audience segmentation strategy, and personalization tactics Expertise in combining analytics and qualitative data to drive customer journey strategies and understanding of how to translate business goals into an actionable CRM plan Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues as they happen Proficient in pulling report data from various SFMC applications to be used for further analysis Experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Requirements

Experience with C# and Python is a plus Experience working with B2B and B2C context is a plus

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $70,000 to $85,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
