We are seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant to join our team as a Senior Accountant in our Overland Park office. Our global accounting and finance department operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and want you to help us as we grow the business. This is a unique opportunity to report to the Global Controller working on acquisitions, budgeting and accounting within a fun and creative environment. Responsibilities:
  • Manage ad-hoc finance projects and support the Global Controller in overseeing the accuracy of the global financial statements.
  • Assist in finance, tax, and insurance diligence for both domestic and international acquisitions.
  • Prepare purchase accounting entries and oversee the valuation process for acquisitions.
  • Lead finance integration activities for acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems and processes.
  • Prepare annual audited financial statements and footnotes and provide support during the annual financial statement audit.
  • Collaborate with accountants located across the world to maintain the accuracy of monthly and annual financial reporting.
Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years accounting experience
  • CPA required
  • Skilled in financial reporting
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • High level of proficiency in Excel
  • Must be analytical and possess strong project management skills
  • M&A experience preferred
Educational Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or similar) required
