Our Electrical Engineering Team is seeking an

Electrical Engineering Co-op Fall/Winter 2024/2025

to work out of our

Philadelphia office . The following locations will also be considered:

Lawrenceville, NJ . Be involved in projects with our Healthcare Sector Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.

This temporary co-op position is seeking individuals currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree program through

Drexel University

with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025 or later.

This co-op is anticipated to take place during the Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 semesters and is anticipated to start on September 23, 2024 and run through March 28, 2025 in alignment with the Drexel University Co-op Program. The individual start and end dates of this co-op may be flexible.

Your Impact

Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.

Learn basic principles of Architectural Engineering and become familiar with Revit.

Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.

Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.

Complete training on assigned tasks.

Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Occasional domestic travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this co-op/internship.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering, or related Undergraduate program through Drexel University.

Prior related internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework.

Experience with Microsoft office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.

Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.

Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Revit, and/or AutoCAD.

Prior internship experience in a related field.

Interest in the healthcare sector.
