Responsibilities:

As our Lead Software Engineer, you will:

  • Act in a lead role partnering with the teams solution architect, engineers, and QA to drive technical decisions in projects.
  • Consult in the technical definition of scope and design for new and maintained features.
  • Coordinate team deployments.
  • Provide mentoring to team members in solution design and development practices.
  • Help establish the creation and sharing of software development standards.
  • Deliver high-quality, secure, efficient, scalable, and reusable code that always protects customer privacy and confidentiality.
  • Extend existing system functionality based on user requirements; analyze code to identify areas for modification; and maintain and support existing products.
  • Provide input on our architecture, databases, and APIs.
  • Partner with teammates to ensure cohesive, quality, usable solutions are produced and tested.
  • Test, evaluate and recommend technologies to improve our overall solutions.
  • Be a key participant in our agile development framework.
  • Produce complete and coherent documentation.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in all aspects of the application development process: Epic/Story elaboration, technical design, coding, deployment, and documentation creation.
  • 8+ years of development experience delivering scalable full-stack solutions using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6, RESTful API, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server, and No-SQL databases.
  • 6+ years of experience in writing Unit Tests and using tools like ReSharper for code coverage.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing.
  • 4+ years of experience delivering Service Oriented Architectural solutions on Azure, including containerization using platforms like Docker.
  • Proficiency in Cloud Native Development, focusing on scalable and resilient design.
  • Experience in Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, and transactional queues.
  • Strong experience with code analysis tools like SonarQube and application security.
  • Experienced in developing, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, with full competence in integrating security practices, including the use of SAST and DAST, for secure software delivery.
  • Expert in Git and Git UI tools with a strong grasp of branching strategies.
  • Experienced in using Application Insight for tracing transactions and logs.
  • 4-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
