Health Saviours is seeking a travel Echo Technician for a travel job in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Echo Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel: Echocardiogram Technician Registered - DAYS SHIFT: DAYS 7:00AM - 5:30PM START: ASAP REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required. State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License. BLS certification issued through American Heart Association. POSITION TITLE: Cardiac Sonographer (Registered) DEPARTMENT: Echo Lab (Echocardiography) POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Two year allied health education program that is patient care related.Allied health occupations include but are not limited to: diagnostic medical sonographer, radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist and/or registered nurse preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required. State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License. BLS certification issued through American Heart Association. SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively Demonstrates strong organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with others from a variety of disciplines Ability to work at a rapid pace under stressful conditions Manual dexterity to perform echocardiograms. EXPERIENCE: Two years of actively doing echocardiograms preferred. NATURE OF SUPERVISION: -Responsible to: Director of Cardiovascular Services ENVIRONMENT: - Bloodborne pathogen May be exposed to physical injury, infectious diseases and airborne and blood borne pathogens. Requires knowledge of safety standards to limit exposure to infectious diseases. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting patients, pushing heavy equipment, beds, and carts.
