Unlock Your Potential as a UPS Delivery Assistant About the Role This is a seasonal opportunity to join our team as a Delivery Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in delivering packages efficiently and safely. As a member of our delivery team, you'll be responsible for assisting drivers in making deliveries, interacting with customers, and ensuring timely and accurate package delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong commitment to customer service. Previous experience in customer-facing roles or driving positions is an asset but not required. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour, providing opportunities for growth and development within the company. Key Responsibilities Assist drivers in making deliveries, including lifting up to 70 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. Able to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. No prior experience necessary, but previous customer-facing or driving experience is an asset. Benefits Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour.
