Job Description Summary
The incumbent is responsible for performing the day-to-day and periodic cleaning activities in assigned work areas. Basic responsibilities may include any combination of the following tasks: wipe down, trash removal, mopping, pressure washing, dusting, etc.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Performs daily and periodic task in assigned areas as directed.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Performs all cleaning assignments in accordance with C&W's approved procedures.
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition, and notifies the Manager, Supervisors, or Leads if repair or replacement is necessary.
• Maintain appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Works safely always and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area.
• Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed.
• Meets all clients and C&W quality expectations in assigned tasks.
• Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed.
• Adheres to proper security procedures.
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the client.
• Performs other cleaning- related duties as required.

COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment used to perform job duties
• Experience cleaning multifamily residential or commercial buildings preferred
• Able to follow directions and handle projects
• Able to complete tasks on time
• Able to follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school

• Some related experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly use hands to operate office machinery and regularly required to walk, talk, and hear. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
