Key Responsibilities
•Meet master shipping schedule and cost guidelines of MCI business plan; work with Production Control to uphold shipment schedules and resolve issues
•Enforce systems, policies, and procedures to maintain high quality of end products; work with Quality to ensure all parts produced comply with MCI's Quality Policy and Manual
•Ensure a safe work environment by upholding all safety protocols; work with Maintenance and Compliance Manager to keep premises safe, clean, organized, and fully operational
•Work with Purchasing to maintain the necessary level of materials
•Lead personnel functions such as hiring, performance management, employee evaluations, and promotions; provide guidance and support to each Production Supervisor to effectively manage their shift
•Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability to foster high performance and employee engagement
•Partner with Human Resource to manage and develop the workforce, following MCI's handbook and legal guidelines
•Partner with Management and a cross-departmental team to vet and plan CapEx investments
•Provide Management and Administration with reporting on performance metrics and inventory
•Utilize data to recommend, implement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance efficiency
Qualifications
•Ability to frequently stand/walk as well as occasionally bend, twist, crouch, squat, and lift 30 to 40 pounds
•Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred;
equivalent experience will also be considered
•5 plus years of experience in Manufacturing leadership
•Proven ability to manage all Manufacturing aspects in a growth-oriented environment
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate through inspiration and accountability
•Highly developed interpersonal skills to communicate to/collaborate with multiple levels of the organization professionally and effectively
•Ability to think critically, analytically, and independently to solve problems
•Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines
•Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidential information
•Ability to write correspondence at a highly professional level
•Ability to effectively present information to/field questions from a varied audience
•Commitment to continuous improvement
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices
•Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
•Experience using ERP software
