Join our team and experience first-hand how VitalCore Health Strategies promotes a positive work environment that is based on respect and appreciation of the hard work and dedication of our staff. *DENTAL ASSISTANT SCHEDULE* * PRN- Sporadic availability during the week, evenings and weekends *DENTAL ASSISTANT POSITION SUMMARY* The Dental Assistant works under direct supervision of the dentist while assisting with patient care, instruments, supplies and records. *DENTAL ASSISTANT ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* * Prepares operatory with appropriate instruments and material for the patients scheduled to be seen. * Assists dentist during treatment, providing instruments, material retraction or suction. Sterilizes instruments and disinfects operatory between patients. * Schedules patients for dental appointments. * Performs laboratory procedures such as mixing impression material for dentures and assists in the clinical procedures of prosthetic dentistry. * Develops and mounts routine radiographs. Assists in maintaining dental charts and records dental findings. * Follows security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications. * Adheres to safety and security policies and participates in disaster drills. * Adheres to Universal Precautions and other appropriate infection control practices. * Inventories and orders supplies to maintain proper levels. * Attends training and meetings as required. *DENTAL ASSISTANT REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATION* * Minimum of one-year dental assistant experience required. * X ray Certification * Must have current CPR certification. * Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements. *We’re people who are fueled by passion* *VitalCore Health Strategies is an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace in which all employees have an opportunity to participate and contribute to the success of the business and are valued for their skills, experience, and unique perspectives. * Job Type: Temporary Pay: $20.88 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 24 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid sick time * Paid time off * Pet insurance * Vision insurance Schedule: * Day shift Application Question(s): * Can you pass a drug and background check?
