You'll be supported as you follow your dreams and find where you belong, here at Tradition Hospital.Echocardiograph technicians are a very specific kind of diagnostic medical sonographer dealing with the heart. Echo technicians use ultrasound devices and other imaging tools that use sound waves to create images of the heart. They inspect the chambers and walls of the heart as well as the valves. An echocardiogram can be administered externally on a patient's chest but can also be conducted by placing a tube down a patient's esophagus to get closer to the heart internally.The ideal future caregiver is someone who:+ Active Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) registry status from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).+ Has experience in echo and vascular ultrasound.+ Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.+ Is empathetic.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make meaningful differences in the lives of others while enjoying the flexibility of a PRN schedule.At Cleveland Clinic, we know what matters most. Maintains records of testing for documentation.+ Provides daily account of patient's charge requisition with appropriate ICD9 codes.+ Provides training and acts as a resource for echocardiogram students, residents and physicians.+ Provides testing for add-on emergency patients.+ Maintains complete and up-to-date documentation and files at all times, including products and service quotes.+ Other duties as assigned.**Education:**+ Graduation from two (2) year cardiovascular technologist program.
