The ITW Welding MIG Gun Division (MGD) is seeking an individual to provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, order entry, management of purchase orders, and maintaining customer accounts. Assist and support established accounts and end users by providing solutions to inquiries and requests while servicing all MGD welding brands. The candidate must possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude and any previous relevant experience is preferred. The is a full-time hourly position working out of Beecher, IL. Essential Functions: Provide best-in-class customer service to customers via email and phone. Build strong and meaningful relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction. Partner with logistics, quality control, manufacturing, and purchasing departments to ensure product availability. Tracking orders to ensure the product(s) are shipped on time. Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with other departments, including sales and marketing, to resolve customer issues and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience. Continuously strive to improve customer service processes and procedures. Partner with sales and external contacts to meet customer needs and develop meaningful, and impactful relationships. Manage inbound calls to assist customers and sales teams with product, delivery, and account assistance. Efficient and accurate entry of orders into our system. Work effectively through email, quotes, and product recommendations. Process invoices for shipped orders. Additional duties not listed above. Education Requirements: Post-Secondary Education preferred. Experience & Skills: A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service required, preferably with data entry. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external customers. Able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. Must be a team player. Ability to make sound, customer-oriented decisions in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail while using multiple computer-based systems. Comfortable working within remote teams including reporting to an off-site Customer Service Supervisor. A positive and enthusiastic attitude. Be self-motivated, with a desire to help the customer find the welding solution that is right for them.
