Our client is looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join their team Our client has been manufacturing different steel containers for over 60 years and isn't slowing down anytime soon

The Manual Machinist will be in charge of fabricating different machine components and operating different machinery such as conventional mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders and saws.

CNC mill and lathe experience is a plus

Job Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Fabricate and machine components in a variety of materials, from drawings /blueprints
•Set-up and operate all machine tools in a tool room environment including but not limited to,
conventional mills, lathes, drill presses, saws and grinders. (CNC mill & lathe a plus)

Skills and Qualifications:
•Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance
•Help out in other areas of shop when needed
•Trade school experience is preferred (Machining, Fabrication, etc)
•2+ years of Machining experience in a metal manufacturing setting
•Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers,
depth gauges and calipers
•Organized self-starter
•Basic computer skills (preferably able to read and render Auto Cad/Solidworks)
