Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance, addressing deviations or issues collaboratively.
  • Evaluate potential new suppliers against quality benchmarks in coordination with Purchasing.
  • Establish and maintain supplier quality standards aligned with company objectives and regulations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in resolving quality issues using methodologies like root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure supplier alignment with product specifications.
  • Oversee Supplier Corrective Action Requests to address recurring quality issues.
  • Lead Production Part Approval Process with critical customers to meet requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier network.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for suppliers on quality standards and processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience as a Quality Engineer is required
  • Previous experience in the Manufacturing Setting is required
  • Quality Management Systems experience
  • ISO 9001 & AS9100
  • Lean Manufacturing & Root Cause Analysis experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Electromechanical Designs

Must Have:
  • Previous experience building a Supplier Quality program
  • Previous experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing Setting is required
  • Quality Management Systems Exp.
  • Previous experience building a Supplier Quality Department is a MUST
  • Stable work history
