Summary:
General Dynamics- Ordnance and Tactical Systems is recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician position for the Marion, IL location.
Major Position Responsibilities
- Employee will conduct maintenance electronics work in a production facility.
- Troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic and pnuematically controlled systems.
- Candidate will need to be able to work a flex shift of 1st or 2nd.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
OR
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience - Five years experience in Industrial Electrical maintenance work and pass a written test covering specific and general requirements.
- Any HVAC experience is a plus
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervision and fellow employees
- Must have the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety signs and instructions
- Must be able to perform basic math
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Pre-employment background and medical screening will be required if selected for hire.
- Must be able to work all shifts and overtime, as required
