IND123*This position is located in person at Baldwin Middle School*The mission of our School Health Program is to deliver high-quality health care to students that is accessible, convenient, and affordable for all. As a School Health Behavioral Therapist you will provide direct therapeutic services to students within our partner school districts, including assessments, brief evidence-based interventions, and discharge planning.Description*Location: On Site - Baldwin Middle School*Compensation Range: - 70k - 95k for full-time 40 hours per week *Schedule: Monday 12-8pm, Tuesday 12-8pm, Wednesday 12-8pm, Thursday 12-8pm, Friday 9-5pm*Language: Bilingual Spanish speaking is strongly preferred but not required for this role*License Requirement - can also be LCSW, LMHC, LMSWProvide in person consultation and solution focused therapeutic interventions for students in grades K-12Provide in person consultation crisis intervention services for students in grades K-12Provide culturally relevant counseling and treatmentCollaborate with care management team to identify and support transition servicesParticipate in trainings, meetings, and other activities with PM Pediatrics School Health team and school officialsMaintain weekly scheduled therapy appointments.Complete required documentation and paperwork including clinical assessments, treatment planning, and updating of student medical records within of 24 hours of student visits.Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to students.Assist in developing local promotional material and engage in referral partnerships.Other duties as assignedMaintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly or a minimum of 5 patients dailyQualificationsMaster's Degree in Social Work or a related field requiredRelevant therapist license in the state(s) practicing (LCSW - New York)Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients requiredAbility to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgroundsExperience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based practices.Prior school-based mental health experience preferredLanguage proficiency in Spanish is a plusIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with usEEO StatementPM Pediatric Care is an equal employment opportunity employer.
