Sales Coordinator Houston Texas The Role: Sales Coordinator Location: Houston, Texas The Company Rapidly growing premium specialty-grade organic beverage company is seeking a rock star Sales Coordinator to help fuel their continued growth. The Role The Sales Coordinator will support the entire Sales Team by ensuring new Product & Customers are onboarded smoothly.In addition, this person will act as a jack-of-all-trades for ancillary Sales projects, like Trade Show Management, Customer Service Response, etc.This role's primary functions will be focused in two key areas: Work with Sales Leads to accurately receive & submit paperwork both internally & externally for new Retailer partners and new Product launches Support the entire Sales Team to execute against ad hoc initiatives: coordinate Expo West/East/WAFC/NFRA/UNFI/KeHe trade shows, organize sample/apparel/shipping requests, filter customer requests from our website. Responsibilities Onboard new Retailers & Products Accurately complete Retailer New Vendor paperwork within requested timeframe to set up the company as a customer Accurately complete Retailer New Item paperwork within requested timeframe to ensure the company's new items are authorized & ready to ship Accurately complete Distributor new item paperwork for Innovation onboarding Coordinate any required documents, including but not limited to Organic/Gluten-Free/Kosher Certifications by Distributor deadlines Submit new innovation items to all relevant eCommerce platforms: IX-One, Instacart, etc., and ensure all item images are up-to-date Support Sales team with management of pipeline opportunities, including keep track of Broker Communication Support Sales Team with Regular Projects Coordinate all aspects of our annual Trade Shows: Expo West/East, WAFC, NFRA, UNFI, and KeHe. Keep track of, and regularly report back against, total spend, anticipated spend, and any variance to Trade Show Budget Attend Broker Touchbase meetings to support the Sales team's new initiative opportunities - help us manage our CRM Work with Sales Team to think about ways to surprise & delight our key retail decision makers: swag/apparel, etc. Provide feedback on how we can make any of our processes better and/or more efficient Qualifications 2 years of Food Industry Coordination experience Understanding of industry terms: SKUs, UPCs, TiHi, Vendors, etc. High attention to detail, ambitious, organized, and self-starting Familiarity with the following platforms: KeHe/UNFI Portals, IX-One High curiosity for learning new systems & process improvements Ability to work on a team and individually Effective and positive communication skills Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint To Apply Interested candidates should apply through the HireBetter website at jobs.hirebetter.com .
