Human Resources Representative
Function/Summary
The Human Resources Representative, Benefits Coordinator provides administrative support to the Executive Director, Human Resources and Compliance with frequent exposure to confidential issues and is responsible for performing a wide variety of routine and skilled clerical and administrative tasks in support of the benefits coordination role of the human resources department, including processing transactions using appropriate paper forms and business systems to generate reports and queries appropriate to the specific role.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Required: Associate's Degree or equivalent education and experience
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
Required: Two years’ general office management, personnel, or accounting experience
Preferred: Two or more years of Human Resources and/or compensation and benefits experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Requires strict adherence to confidentiality processes and procedures to protect employees’ private information at all times.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications—especially MS Excel or an equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to do math calculations, process deductions based on tracking dates and accruals, and understand schedules to assure proper payroll deductions.
• Ability to read and reconcile monthly accounts for benefits deductions.
• Ability to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Ability to multi-task and work well with others.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive material.
