In this role, you'll spearhead all procurement functions, driving innovation, efficiency, and strategic sourcing to support the success of our groundbreaking projects. Get ready to make a lasting impact and forge valuable relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliersResponsibilities:Embrace and champion our safety culture, ensuring the well-being of our team and stakeholders.Lead with a commitment to excellence, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Attract, develop, and retain top talent, cultivating a high-performing and cohesive team.Drive data-driven decision-making and facilitate seamless communication across departments and with clients.Foster an environment of trust, integrity, and respect, promoting positive and solutions-oriented collaboration.Strategically manage procurement activities, optimizing processes and resources to maximize project success.Provide strategic leadership, mentoring, and coaching to empower team members to reach their full potential.Evaluate and enhance departmental structures and processes for ongoing improvement and growth.Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute sector plans and initiatives.Establish credibility as a problem-solver and advisor, providing expert guidance and support across the organization.Oversee the development and implementation of key initiatives and standard operating procedures.Drive continual improvement of budgeting processes, ensuring financial accountability and performance.Qualifications:Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, construction management, or related field.12-15 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, or project management.Proven experience in senior leadership roles within procurement or the construction industry.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Commitment to health and safety principles, prioritizing the well-being of all stakeholders.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in computer skills, with a knack for leveraging technology to drive efficiency.Strategic thinking and analytical prowess, with a data-driven mindset.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with ease.Strong leadership abilities, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Financial acumen and experience with budget management.Knowledge of project management principles.Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.Join us on this exciting journey to redefine procurement in the renewables sector and be a driving force behind our mission to create a sustainable future
