PrideNow is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for a Sanitation Team Lead. This is a direct hire position with our food manufacturing client in Piscataway, NJ.

Pay Rate: $22-$23/hr. dependent on experience

Shift: 3rd Shift- 7pm-330am

*Job Duties:*

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the sanitation team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.

Develop and implement sanitation procedures and protocols to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA, USDA, and company policies.

Conduct regular inspections of production areas, equipment, and facilities to identify sanitation issues and take corrective actions as necessary.

Train sanitation team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, safety procedures, and equipment operation.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels.

Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to schedule sanitation activities to minimize production downtime.

Ensure proper documentation of sanitation activities, including cleaning logs, inspection reports, and sanitation schedules.

Enforce safety protocols and practices to prevent accidents and injuries during sanitation activities.

Serve as a liaison between sanitation team members, management, and other departments to address sanitation-related issues and concerns.

*Qualifications:*

Previous experience in sanitation, preferably in a food manufacturing or processing environment.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

Strong understanding of sanitation principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and sanitation tracking software is a plus.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
