This position requires extensive travel, up to 75%, and will serve as the coatings expert for non-wovens, paper, and related materials. The role involves providing technical leadership for complex issues across multiple sites, supporting site-level process engineers, and utilizing data analysis tools for statistical process control (SPC). Process Engineer Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and expertise in fabric treatments, specifically for non-wovens and paper, at the corporate level within a renowned "Center of Excellence." Support site-level process engineers in resolving complex technical issues related to coatings for non-wovens, paper, tape, and similar materials. Utilize data analysis tools for analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to drive process improvements and optimize manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for coating processes. Develop and communicate clear and measurable performance expectations Partner with Technical Leaders at each plant to develop project plans aimed at closing performance gaps and achieving plant goals. Support new line vertical start-ups and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Foster connections with manufacturing, plant technical resources, and Business Center of Excellence Teams to influence results across Non-Wovens operations. Process Engineer Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, specializing in coatings for non-wovens, paper, or similar materials. Expertise in fabric treatments and coatings processes for non-wovens, paper, tape, etc. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools for statistical process control (SPC) and process optimization. Ability to travel up to 75% and work effectively in a remote corporate setting. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical leadership for complex issues. Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
