Granite Mountain is a leading granite fabricator located in New Lenox, IL and serves the Lincoln-way communities of New Lenox, Frankfort, Mokena, Manhattan, Bourbonnais, Homer Glen, Orland Park and soon Woodridge. The company offers custom made quartz, granite, marble, and quartzite natural stone countertops and designs for kitchen countertops, granite bathroom vanities, granite showrooms, outdoor patios, bar tops, and much more. Their 10,000 sqft showroom showcases their beautiful work.

We are excited to launch our new design center which will be located in Woodridge, IL, which is where this position will be primarily based. Travel to and from our New Lenox location for training and sales support will be required.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Center Sales Specialist. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service, conducting sales consultations, and delivering product knowledge training to staff and customers.

Qualifications & Job Duties

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in sales and sales management
• Ability to train and educate staff and customers on product knowledge
• Experience working in the home improvement or construction industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Greeting clients in our showroom
• Assisting clients with selections of countertops, cabinets, tile and flooring
• Answering client questions about colors and products
• Preparing sales and customer reports
• Lead generation
• Participating in promotional company activities such as Chamber events, parades, home shows
• Maintain social media accounts pertaining to your sales position
• Open and close the showroom
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
• Experience with Google Suite/Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar etc)

Full time paid vacation, paid holidays

Work occasional weekends

Monday - Friday: 10am to 5pm

Saturday: 10am to 2pm

• Starting base salary is $40K, with bonus and incentives income may range from $45K - $60K
