LOCATION
This position is based at Ring House, located at 1801 E Jefferson St in Rockville, Maryland

SHIFTS & STATUS
Shifts and hours vary based off of business need. Please apply if you are interested in a Full Time, Part Time, or PRN (as needed) opportunity.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • Prepare meals during our dining hours according to Kosher traditions
  • Maintain accurate food inventories
  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
  • Rotate stock items as per established procedures
  • Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
  • Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Two (2) years of experience working as a lead cook in a kitchen setting
  • Experience working for a Senior Living Community is proffered
  • Ability to follow food safety protocol, focus in a fast paced environment, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
