This role is the face of the gym floor; you are the person a member sees when he or she is working out inside the facility. It is important that this person has a friendly demeanor with a great eye for detail. The Floor Tech is responsible for the overall upkeep of the fitness floor, equipment, and surrounding areas, walls & mirrors. Job Expectations:Work your scheduled shifts and arrive on time every shiftArrive for your shift in full uniform: brand approved shirt, khaki or black athletic pants, and sneakers (be well groomed, neat, and presentable)Aim to exceed customer expectations at every opportunityMake eye contact with customersSmile authentically at customersSpeak enthusiastically to customersBe attentive and courteous to customersKeep a sense of urgency and hustle when it comes to helping customersKeep a positive, upbeat personalityBe able to communicate clearly, professionally, and proactivelyActive CPR/AED certification preferredJob Responsibilities:Cleaning and maintenance of Retro Fitness outlet main floorTesting equipment for efficiencyStocking of products/itemsLubricating and greasing of circuit training equipmentReporting any facility issues to Management/OwnershipSpot cleaning of walls, mirrors, windows, & diamond platingRe-racking of weightsDisinfecting equipment and upholsteryFacility DustingFollowing company policies & procedures Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour With more than 120 gyms open or under development across the US, Retro Fitness offers multiple fitness experiences under one roof.
