Job Description Job Description SuiteMate Staffing Solutions, Inc., is seeking a full-time Physician in a City/School Employee Health Center. The appointee will be an employee of a school district and will report to the Assistant Superintendent. The physician will be responsible for the day-to-day medical operations of the employee health center, supervise the medical staff, and also be required to see patients. The Physician works closely with staff, school and city administrators, employees who are members of the respective health plans, and eligible dependents.This employer qualifies as a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Employer.Schedule:7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through FridayQualifications:Doctorate Degree in medicine (MD or DO)Completed residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/ PediatricsMust have a current license to practice medicine as a physician by the Texas Medical Board with no restrictionsMust have an unrestricted DEA license for the State of TexasMust maintain current Basic Life Support CertificationMust attain continuing medical education credits as required by the Texas Medical BoardHave two or more years of practical experience with patients preferably in family medicine or internal medicineStrong applicants can demonstrate:Ability to set priorities and make adjustments to meet fluctuating workloadsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong assessment skillsThe ability to handle stress such as time restraints and emotional stressorsThe ability to appropriately delegate responsibilities to the staffAppropriately respond to medical/health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriateThe ability to perform minor surgical proceduresThe ability to commission healthcare by liaising with medical professionals in the community and hospitalsResponsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all patients according to HIPPAResponsible for meeting targets set by the government for specific treatments, such as child immunizationsStay abreast of medical developments, new drugs, treatments, modalities and medicationsEnsuring each patient is given the 'standard of care' with a high level of qualityPowered by JazzHRUsldZXU0Hu#J-18808-Ljbffr
