Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to analysis of business transactions and financial information to determine and maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Tax Accountant - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: Gather, document, and maintain financial information from relevant finance and accounting sources.Analyze business and financial information to determine appropriate accounting treatment and record results with support from team and manager.Develop reports to document assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and/or other financial results.Provide analysis and explanations of financial results to ensure accuracy and support business decisions.Design and execute accounting and financial operations processes and related controls. Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Desired Experience 1 to 5 years of accounting or financial services experience preferredBachelor's degree or equivalentCPA preferredStrong communication skills with the ability to work across the organization in a matrixed environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrate willingness and ability to adapt to changes in priorities, assignments, and processesMust be able to analyze accounting/tax reports to ensure complianceBe able to analyze accounting/tax data and reports to prepare accounting journal entriesReview tax policies and business requirements to implement tax rule changesAbility to absorb information from multiple sources, apply analytical skills, and communicate recommendations to stakeholdersAbility to work with large data sets with the skills of analyzing and manipulating dataAbility to perform complex projects or participate as a team member on highly complex projects. Experience of accounting automation or system testing is a plusAbility to identify opportunities to improve productivity, accuracy, and efficiency through work processesAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel; fluent in MS Teams, SharePoint, Blackline, Tableau or other reporting systems Additional Information The future is what you make it to be.
