As the Senior Director of Finance, you willprovide Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) services toour Global Healthcare Enterprise. Cleveland Clinic is one of the first health care systems to invest in a new software system that uses quantified enterprise risks to provide risk adjusted financials. When you join Cleveland Clinic, you'll be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare.Responsibilities:Develops strategic and complex departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.Plans, organizes and directs all strategic activities related to staffing, including: hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.Coordinates and directs very complex internal/external audits.Demonstrates strategic and high level knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements relative to departmental operations and ensures compliance with the same.Prepares multiple departmental budgets and ensures that the departments operate in compliance with allocated funding.Other duties as assigned.Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare administration, accounting or business administration.Certifications:Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification/Master's degree plexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Work Experience:Minimum of ten years of experience in business management, strategic initiatives, operational and capital budgeting processes, financial analysis and reporting.Healthcare experience preferred, including a minimum of five years of supervisory and/or project management experience preferred.Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications: Is proficient with excel, financial analysis, budgeting. Has clear, concise communication skills, both oral and written, including public speaking.Has the ability to collaborate with multiple subject matter experts to successfully complete complex projects.Has a willingness to design and lead new workflows or insurance programs.Has outstanding leadership skills that result in a high engagement of team members and substantial professional development.Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $62.91Maximum hourly: $100.67The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package, which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement.
