Vulnerability Analyst

Vulnerability AnalystLocation: RemoteWe are looking for a senior-level vulnerability analyst that will help manage our vulnerability scanning environment and surrounding processes. The candidate should be able to operate with minimal leadership direction and is expected to complete tasks and projects independently.

Responsibilities include:

Manage day to day vulnerability identification environment and surrounding processes.Perform OS and application upgrades to environment (Linux and Windows servers)Identify and resolve asset information and dependencies.Support and break/fix for consumers of vulnerability data within the EnterpriseProvide regular metrics on scan success and address gaps for coverage.Work directly with Vulnerability Remediation, Patching, and Cyber Threat teams on small and medium sized projects

Required skills and experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years of managing Tenable products - Tenable Security Center, Tenable Nessus, Tenable IO, Tenable OT (formerly Indigy)Experience with managing regular vulnerability scanning activity in a large enterprise (20,000+ endpoints)System admin experience with Windows and Linux ServerAsset Management/Asset Intelligence experience

Desired skills and experience:

Creating and updating scripts (Python, Powershell, REST API, C#, PERL)MSSQL and T-SQL experienceSecurity Certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc)Experience with Tenable competitors (Qualys or Rapid7) a plusCredential and Privilege Identity Management (Cyberark or similar suite)Experience with Axonius (or similar Asset Intelligence platform)Familiarity with Windows, Linux, MacOS patching a plusComfort with using PowerBI or similar solutions for trend analysis
