JOB SUMMARY

We invite an astute Staff Accountant to join our finance team, with a conspicuous emphasis on

budgeting and financial planning. This role not only encompasses the traditional realms of accounting and finance but notably demands an expertise in forming, managing, and optimizing budgets across the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Budgeting Expertise

  • Formulate, implement, and oversee comprehensive annual and project?specific budgets.
  • Conduct detailed variance analyses, deciphering deviations between budgeted and actual financial outcomes, proposing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Facilitate financial forecasting, guiding strategic planning, and investment decisions.

Financial Management

  • Supervise all accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance.
  • Analyze financial data and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Compliance and Optimization

  • Ensure financial compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to financial processes and management tools.

Collaborative Reporting

  • Work synergistically with external auditors and ensure preparation for financial and tax audits.
  • Provide financial insights and reports to internal teams and management to aid decision?making.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Educational & Professional

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3?5 years in a corporate accounting role with a pronounced focus on budget management.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel.
  • Familiarity with other accounting software and platforms.
