Perform various material handling duties including receiving, storage/retrieval, and shipping per Standard Operating Procedures and TRs.14. Perform other duties such as: cycle counting, safe disposal of trash and hazardous waste, warehouse inspections/housekeeping, on-site mail distribution, operating all motorized and automated material handling equipment to include forklifts and an Automated Storage and Retrieval System, and bar-coding applications.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience:•3 years of experience in manufacturing setting, preferably in warehouse related operations with inventory experience•6 month forklift experience preferred•Basic computer skills•SAP experience preferredEquivalency:Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.Physical Requirements:Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about the site; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically, manipulation (lift, carry, move) of weight up to 50 pounds; arm, handand finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May occasionally be exposed to various types of chemical substances. Will use safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, latex or similar gloves, safety apron, and organic respirator (occasionally).
