Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is recruiting an experienced Staff Perfusionist with at least 3-5 years’ experience. The position is located at UF Health Leesburg Hospital in Leesburg, FL. Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patient and families as well as being a self-motivated candidate that values team collaboration, professional development, and a diligent work ethic. UF Health Leesburg is a busy program adding a fourth full-time perfusionist to its staff. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with three, long-established, efficient surgeons. While it is rare, this individual may occasionally work nights and weekends. There is no ECMO, VADs, or Cell Savers required for this position. Located about 50 miles Northwest of Orlando, Leesburg is known as the Lakefront City. Leesburg has a population of around 23,000 so it is perfect for individuals that want a small town feel with many amenities in proximity to their home. The Villages, FL, famous for their shopping plazas and abundance of golf courses, is a short distance from UF Health Leesburg, making this location an ideal destination for clinicians of all ages. Job Requirements: Must have Bachelor's or Master's degree and be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or eligible to become certified after one year of employment. Must also have current BLS certification through either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
