Be familiar with property, departments, hours of operation and services of the hotelAnswer basic Housekeeping related questionsAssist team with training, supplies and support in order to consistently provide quality guest rooms and public areasProperly maintain hotel keys and electronic cards (key control)Clean and stock linen closetsClean and Vacuum hallways, including baseboardsTurn in all lost and found items in accordance with lost and found proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaDust light fixturesPick up dirty linen from housekeeping closets and throw down the chuteStrip rooms when needed and assist in 'pick up' of dirty linenSort terry and linen into laundry carts after coming down the linen chutePut away supplies when receivedEnsure all trash from guest room floors is placed in dumpstersRun items to guest rooms, room attendants and supervisorActively participate in housekeeping's 'deep clean' or 'preventive maintenance' programs Participate in all departmental meetingsCarpet clean guest rooms and hallways when neededParticipate in required training programsReport any damage, hazard repairs to your immediate supervisorHelp keep stock levels at par and maintain cleanliness of linen closets on floorsClean elevator tracks on all guest elevatorsAbility to perform all housekeeping duties as outlined in hotel specific training outlines and property specific checklistsFamiliar with frequently used Standard Operations ProceduresKnowledge of how to operate all Housekeeping Equipment.Must be able to recognize situations that require immediate supervisory attentionCreates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Cambria experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest serviceListens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problemsProvides Yes I Can genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basisAssumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest SatisfactionPerforms other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitalityPerforms other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest Requirements/SkillsIdeal candidate will have a minimum of one -year hospitality experience in housekeepingFollow instructions and communicates effectivelyWorks well independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detailCommitment to exceptional guest serviceCan clean multiple room types and meet the daily cleaning quotaWilling to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysAdheres to the policies and procedures of the hotelPhysical Demands Required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of timesLift, carry, or otherwise move and use of force or exertion up to 75 lbs.Use of manual dexterity of common office equipment; such as but not limited to, computers, printers, phones etc.Other InformationThe hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates.
