We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician position to repair and maintain residential and commercial buildings in Downtown Oahu. All applicants must successfully pass a background check, possess a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle, and have previous hands?on maintenance experience with light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), drywall, and grounds maintenance). Able to access a small space of 18-inch x 18-inch. Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working correctly and fix as necessary. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property managers, vendors, and customers. Work constantly in motion, standing, walking, bending, and stretching throughout the shift. Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50?lbs up to 75?lbs. Create and maintain work orders. Create and maintain purchase orders. Perform any additional maintenance duties as required by the HBM supervisor/property management. Skills/Qualifications High school diploma/GED. Must pass a background check. Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle. Customer service orientation. General maintenance experience. Basic mathematics. Previous experience creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders. Attention to detail. Mechanical aptitude. Troubleshooting abilities. Strong organizational skills. Willingness to learn and grow. Schedule Monday to Friday 8?am?5?pm (40 hours a week).
