Job Description Responsible for hardware development of Body-, Door- or Seat control Units.

Design:

Analysis of requirements

Schematic design with design-to-cost approach

Component selection

Worst-case calculation

Generation of design FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

Documentation

HW sample build and HW prototype bring up.

Validation:

Electrical verification

Thermal validation

EMC, reliability tests

Design of test environment for project test benches, EMC and reliability tests.

Interface to manufacturing:

Generation of bill of material

Product test specification support

Participate actively in knowledge transfer between application and platform teams and different worldwide development locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar studies.

At least 2 years working experience in automotive industry or embedded system development is preferred.

Know-how and experience in analog and digital electronic design, simulation, test and validation.

Good knowledge in using E-CAD, simulation and calculation software tools.

You are pro-active, self-motivated and a team player.

Candidates with right experience in electrical engineering shall be considered for Senior or Principal position.
