This is located at our Children's Clinic in Savage. At Dental Associates MN, we're on a mission to provide quality dental care that's affordable for everyone in the community. Due to the continued growth of our practices, we have an exciting opportunity for outgoing and detailed focused Patient Care Coordinators (PCC). Studies show that keeping your teeth and gums healthy can have a big impact on your overall health and our Patient Care Coordinators are essential to providing this service. We are looking for mission driven individuals who want to make an impact by serving others and have excellent customer service skills. As a PCC, you are the first point of contact for patients when calling or visiting the practice. This position includes patient facing (front desk) hours and call center (behind the scenes) hours.

As a PCC, you will be performing a wide range of general office duties including scheduling appointments, assisting with insurance claims, and collecting payments; all while providing exceptional patient care. The perfect candidate will be a team player able to multitask with an outgoing, pleasant demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and check in patients
  • Answer patient calls and schedule appointments
  • Ensure patients have all necessary forms completed
  • Discuss and collect money for treatment
  • Partner with providers to manage their schedules
Qualifications
  • 2 years of customer service experience in a professional office environment
  • Experience in using general office equipment and computer systems/programs
  • Previous experience in a dental office is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in Open Dental software preferred, but not required
  • Willingness to serve others, adapt to different situations and personalities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through verbal and written communication

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range for this role is $22.00 - $24.00 based on experience.

It is a full-time role where a majority of the schedule are during days with approximately 1 night a week until 8pm and 1 Saturday per month from 8am-5pm.
